Claudio Paciocco is a classical guitarist based in Brooklyn, New York
Originally hailing from Abruzzo, Italy, he started his classical guitar journey with the Argentinian guitarist Rosario Caida Greco at “Scuola di musica Minuetto” in Pescara, Italy. Studying with Sandro Torlontano, renowned Italian guitarist, led him to graduate with honors from the Conservatory “U. Giordano” in Foggia, Italy
Claudio expanded his expertise by earning in 2011 a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance at the “International Guitar Academy” in Koblenz, Germany, under the mentorship of the legendary Aniello Desiderio. He attended masterclasses and had the chance to meet esteemed guitarists like Leo Brouwer, Pavel Steidl, Dale Kavanagh
He has served as the artistic director of the Contemporary Guitar Fest in Italy from 2013 to 2015
As a soloist, Claudio Paciocco has achieved recognition through international music competitions and has played on stages at festivals and events across Europe and the USA. Notably, he has performed at the Torpedo Theatre in Amsterdam and Teatro Marcello in Rome
In 2018 he took part in the LES festival of arts at the Theatre for the New City in New York, and he participated in the off-Broadway play ‘Uno Momento’ directed by Joe Battista at the 13th Street repertory theatre
Currently a Teaching Artist at EzraGuitar in Brooklyn, Claudio Paciocco has been sharing his musical artistry through recordings with Camino Records, a Brooklyn-based label
